As you can see, our Open Bve community has a truly international flavour. This website is the creation of our good friend and colleague Derryck, who is also chairman of the Bve Worldwide Forum (see above). Derryck is the master of the Czech railway scene – his locomotives, rolling stock and scenery are truly stunning and authentic and epitomise the modern Czech Railways. We highly recommend you pay him a visit – you won’t be disappointed.

If you're looking for the most accurate routes for Open Bve then you will want to visit Eezypeazy's Bve Pages. Drive from Carlisle  to Sunderland  or From Newcastle to Berwick along the East Coast Mainline. His routes will amaze you with the supreme accuracy of his routes.

BVETMD (BVE Traction Maintainence Depot) currently develop diesel trains from the British Rail era of railway history including hosting some locomotives from the defunct Network West Midlands website.

Another forum that hosts a  load of material and information regarding OpenBVE.

Our first visit takes us to the Emerald Isle, to the home of the Balleyfeckin and Waterville Railway, created by our friend and colleague Graymac.  Stunning, typically Irish scenery, rural and urban, including fishing smacks, harbours, medieval castles, grazing sheep and cattle, clumps of azaleas (when in season) and much more.  Watch out for the VIP passengers on the platforms, and if you arrive on time at Kilgarvan International Airport you’ll see the arrival of EZY 1308 inbound from Gatwick.  Graymac also has a fine collection of Iarnrod Eireann liveried locomotives and trains, both passenger and freight.  Something for everyone.

Our next link takes you to some fictional routes in the Birmingham and Buckinghamshire areas of the UK with excellent urban and rural scenery, typical of the region.  The site also contains the pioneering Class 323 EMU with 3D cab.  Current work in progress will include the most detailed and realistic routes ever seen on Open Bve.  Why not pay them a visit?

This site contains the immensely popular Network West Midlands routes.  Total route distance is ca. 140 kms, there are over 30 diagrams, electric and non-electric, with various weather conditions.  Superb rural and urban scenery, typical of the region.  A Must for every Open Bve fan.

Developing Quality Routes and Trains for the Free, Open Sourced Railroad Simulator

Had to choose this image as the link! But for a very good selection of object for your route go to BVE Library hosted by the one and olny mr wheeler!

For a vast collection of UK traction, Steve Thomas is one of the most popular developers, visit his site and take a look at his work!  (his blog is updated every month and is a very good read)

This gentleman is new to OpenBVe but he has successfully managed to create his trains from a 3D software program! some very fine consists on this site!

A very good forum that has reopened! and opened with a very good show of creativity! Not only are they not blocking unregeistered users from seeing work! but are putting bandwidth behind the ones that do! and they are the only forum going that has its own sections for Bve 2,4,5 and OpenBVE! and unlike others they allow talks about other simulators too! a good forum and a great team! if you are looking to register on a forum, this should be the first place you visit!
